F - Fig

Ahhh ! F for fruits , F for Food and yes F for FIG.

I am taking the privilege to post of this lovely Fruit - FIG. We call them Anjeer. We eat them as raw fruit or dry fruit. The advantages of this sweet tasting fruit are plenty.They are very nutritious and good to have them on your diet. They are seasonal fruits but not to worry you can get the stored dried ones in the nearby grocery all through the year. They taste more yummy in its dried form and are very nutritious as they contain vitamins A, B, and minerals like phosphorus, calcium, iron and manganese.

Last week I had them at home. I baked a Strwaberry-Fig pie using it. Here is one click of the chopped Figs.
